A Ton Of Bricks

I read a poem by Guillaume Apollinaire,
That said that a light push gets you there,
You give a little push and they fly on their own,
Well, to be fair many end up crushing down,
This is why around every tree standing tall,
There are many bodies smashed after a fall,
Not everyone can fly it is a rare quality,
Not everyone has that bold hovering ability,
Fear and anxiety can truly paralyze,
You did not even know this or realize,
That you were anchored by your fears,
You in tears, overtaken by your peers,
So flap your wings little helpless chick,
Dream, or fall down like a brick,
