Onions

There she was my math teacher,
Can I say she was a stinker?
My math class was after lunch,
When kids and teachers went to munch,
My teacher was the helping kind,
She would surprise you and sneak from behind,
Thank God for little marvels,
Her onion breath came to our nostrils,
Long before she arrived from behind,
So I had my peace of mind,
Someone wise has said it before many a day,
“An apple a day keeps the doctor away”,
I can add another coin:
“Biting into an onion by morn,
Will make everyone else disappear and be gone”
