Dog Named Beef

We had a dog his name was Beef,
Yes, that was his name, very brief,
He was a Rhodesian lion dog,
As useful as a wooden log,
He would bark on friends,
Attack ladies and gents,
But if you were a thief,
You would breathe in relief,
In the eyes of Beef,
You are the chief,
You are safe as can be,
Criminal; means you’re free,
So we reflect in disbelief,
On the old times with Beef,
His world was upside down,
This dog Beef, was a clown,
Now he is probably in dog’s Valhalla,
Having good time in dog’s Nirvana,
And for fun he is chewing on a foot
Of an Avon Lady that has gone Kaput
